The OmniPCX Office System

The Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX is a modular and upgradeable telecommunications system. Capable of handing everything from analogue lines, ISDN 2 & ISDN 30 lines as well as VoIP (SIP trunks) lines, the OmniPCX covers all of your business needs.

Advanced features such as Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), integration with Microsoft Outlook, call recording are available as well as standard requirements, such as integrated voicemail. Handsets range from a simple analogue phone through to the executive 4068, complete with colour screen and Bluetooth connectivity.

The OmniPCX Office is easy to deploy and manage, and is extremely cost effective. Installing an OmniPCX Office is the first step to improved customer service, enhanced business operations, and reduced operational risks.


Sizing It Up

To protect your investment, the OmniPCX Office system is modular and upgradeable. This means if you decide to start out with a small module, you can later add larger modules to cope with the expansion of your business. The Office system comes in 3 sizes:

? Small - 4 to 16 extensions

? Medium - 8 to 48 extensions

? Large - 40 to 200 extensions

If you require more then 200 users at a site, it is advisable to start with the Enterprise which can handle 5,000 extensions per site.


Extended Communications Server (ECS)

The ECS server integrates with the OmniPCX Office seamlessly. Together, they provide advanced telephony services, secure high-speed internet access, e-mail, shared access to contacts, calendars and documents to employees in the office, on the road, or working from home.

This simple, flexible and reliable applications server brings a wealth of additional features to the OmniPCX Office business telephony server for those in the office and for remote access for mobile employees.

Designed for very small, small and medium businesses, the Extended Communication Server can easily be upgraded to offer additional capacity or functionalities. No extra hardware or software is required, although optional software packages open up a range of additional capabilities.
